The Diós Camping Experience
For kids
If your child still has energy to channel after bathing and playing all day, they can continue to have fun on the playground thats located inside the campsite, it is equipped with a sandpit, a slide castle, a seesaw and two swings.
Life at the campsite
Most of our guests visit us to relax and unwind, while noisier groups tend to prefer the beach. Thus, the night is calm and quiet, thanks to our location, not even the noise of the train will disturb your dream.
Sights
Thanks to its high coastal location, an excellent panorama can be experienced after a brief walk from the campsite. A staircase at the end of the promenade allows you to reach the Nyugati Beach or the dog beach the latter is specifically maintained so your furry four legged companions can also enjoy swimming in the lake. Both of these beaches are approximately 15-20 minutes away on foot.

Sunshine
Although we are not by the shore, it doesn’t take away from the experience. On the way to the shore, a special panorama reveals itself to us, whether you walk there during the day or in the evening you can see the northern shore from Tihany all the way to Badacsony.
Nearly 200 walnut trees
Thanks to the sheer number of trees, we always have shady places under which rest is peaceful, joyful and calm. It is no coincidence that this type of tree has already been highly respected among the ancient folks. While in the daytime it gives shade, in the evening it keeps insects away.
Sunset
Each day the setting sun dresses the other side in different colors. What’s more, the lucky ones can also catch a glimpse of the famous golden bridge that leads across the lake all the way to Badacsony. From the lookout point, in case of good weather, you can see the whole of Lake Balaton
Campfire
One of the main, if not the most anticipated, event of camping is cooking together with friends and family. Here you can use the secret family recipe, but it’s also a lasting experience to teach the little ones to put up a campfire or just bake marshmallows.

How to get to us?
From Budapest exit the motorway at exit 126 (Balatonszárszó), leave the roundabout at the second exit. At the first intersection, turn right in the direction of Balatonföldvár (towards Pest), immediately after the MOL gas station turn right on the first street.
From Keszthely get out of the highway at exit 126 (Balatonszárszó), approach the main road 7 in the direction of Balatonszárszó. Then, reaching it, turn right in the direction of Balatonföldvár (towards Pest), then turn right after the MOL gas station on the first street.
